I'm Marsha's husband of 45 years. I recognize many of you from reading your inscriptions in her 1953 & 1954 yearbook, and felt info for the alumni website would be of interest, although I'm providing it without exactly an okay from her. We met in the bank in Beverly Hills where she was working while I was going to UCLA. We were married in 1962, moved to Santa Barbara for 4 years, back down to Century City area for 4 years, and then to Westchester, NY where we've lived in the same house for the past 36 years. I retired from IBM in 1991 .We're both thankfully in good health although unfortunately didn't have children. Many of you wrote inscriptions for her to stay exactly as she was, and I can say this is how it's turned out. Marsha Diane is still the petite, sweet, cute gal you remember. I'm one lucky guy and I only wish I was in Samohi in 1953 to have heard her Texas accent.

Four children, two adults and two minors. Four grandchildren and a great grandchild coming in June. Just turned 69 and will retire as soon as the real estate market verifys to me that we are definitely going to be into one of its typical droughts for a while. I am divorced and look forward to leisure time, some traveling, trips to Vegas and Laughlin, hanging out with Samohi friends. When I retire, I will probably relocate to Northridge in San Fernando Valley where I own a condominium. I'd like to hear from anyone who would like to communicate with me. Samohi was awesome in the 50's ! !

Theresa (Velez) and I returned from our fabulous trip to Portugual and Spain which we took a bus tour in September. It was great. We are still living in Las Cruces, NM and love it. Our boy lives in Eureka, CA and is doing well. Theresa's two sisters from California whom she had not seen in five years and Lupe's (Velez) husband, Claude Conner, came for a visit. It was great! My sister, Pat Armstrong (Lugo) and her husband Jack, also were here for a visit from St. Thomas VI were they moved to in 2004. Since moving to Las Cruces, it has been visitors galore, busy but really enjoy everyone's company. Hopefully, 2007, we hope to go to Italy or somewhere internationally, God willing.

Well, looks like the trip to Italy might be off for this year. August & September were our planned months for Europe. Then the scare in Spain & the Olympics in Greece,& too-o-o many people which I was trying to avoid made me think this trip over.I do believe it would be just a bit scary for me @ this time. I'd planned to stay in Spain & Greece, then go visit with an Uncle in England too. So if it's totally off, I might just go to New Zealand for the New Year after I get back from my yearly trip to Taxco, Mexico in October, God Willing! Please keep in touch by sending your info into me, as your Class Reporter, or direct to the Viking News "K"? Would love to hear what you all have been doing! Stay Well, & Happy!! Luv, Tess
Big Bear CA 92314
Married to Ginger Wiggans (University High)45 years, three sons, three grandkids. Retired in 1995 and moved to Big Bear to be away from the rush and close to the family. The weather here is better than Santa Monica and the traffic is out of this world compared to civilization (?) "down the hill". We have enough land to park all our toys and a close by lake to put the boats in (and not to far to Lake Havasu). We love to travel in our motorhome to visit the kids and friends. Come and visit, it's not S M beach but it's uncrowded.
Was a pro skater for 6years and wound up staying on the east coast. Lived in Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Florida. Met and married my husband in 1976. I have 3 step-children, I live with me daughter Lauren and her husband. John. They had my 1 grandchild, Samantha. She is 16 months old.

Earlier this year we took a Carribean cruise for a week, then visited St Thomas VI for two weeks and stayed with Joe's sister, Pat Armstrong and Susan L. Lugo and husband George. Next year 2009, we will be traveling to Italy for our 50th anniversary and we are looking forward to that trip.
Remarried last year to my beautiful wife Ginny after 8 years of widowhood. Also retired last year from El Dorado County, and have 2 homes at South Lake Tahoe, one in Calif., and the other in Nevada. We travel, sail, hike, and volunteer work. I still ski and paddle my kayak around the lake (The CA house is on the water, and the sailboat's docked in the back).

I am writing this on behalf of my aunt, Carol Ann Wedin, who passed away on June 14, 2004 at the age of 67. Carol was a teacher with the Los Angeles Unified School District for forty years before retiring in 1999 due to cancer. She enjoyed working with children, although she didn't have any of her own and never married. She lived in Santa Monica all of her life, and was active in her neighborhood and the community. Her passions were her house, her garden, movies, her four cats and caring for feral cats. She is survived by her older brother, Harold "Buzz" Wedin of Malibu, a nephew, Howard Wedin of Los Angeles, and me, her niece, Cassie Tondro of Santa Monica. She is missed by many.
